In his contribution, Dr. Linde-Laursen will discuss experiences over ten years with using internet carried courses and course components.
Employing internet-carried interactive course seminars has enabled faculty and students from across the globe to interact in classes on topics of mutual interest, thereby greatly contributing to students' learning. Such components in the process of learning in particular have demonstrated their potential in courses with a global perspective; however, they can successfully be employed on all levels and in all kinds of classes. Furthermore, experiences show that such tools have turned out to significantly impact social relations in the process of learning, facilitating for students to demonstrate their potential in an environment that demands other skills than the ones found in an ordinary classroom. Thus, internet-carried interactive classes and class components have empowered individuals and groups of students who in ordinary classes might be or are disenfranchised.
