How can Educational For All be achieved through Compulsory Education?

Education For All (EFA) goal 2 calls for the provision of free and compulsory primary education for all. This means that education must be inclusive and accessible to all without discrimination. Education is a fundamental human right that cannot be forfeited, yet gender, disability, regional, and socio-economic educational disparities exist.

UNESCO is mandated to work with education in its many aspects and places the language of rights at the very heart of its efforts, with emphasis on inclusion, gender and life long learning.

The intervention intends to discuss the different aspects related to the manifestation of discrimination and to the implementation of compulsory education and wishes to offer innovative and alternative approaches that lead to diminishing the discriminatory gaps.
